Big Thaya Traders (Pty) Ltd (BTT) is a South African black owned and private enterprise established in 2010 and a Level  1 BBBEE contributor.  The company was founded by Mr. Sfiso Memela who serves as the CEO of the business and Mr. Leepy Shabangu as the Executive Chairman.

BTT specialises in the supply of Off-the-Road tyres (OTR) and Trucks, Bus Radial (TBR), Aircraft Tyres and Conveyor Belts.  We have over time expanded our footprint to include construction aggregates materials for road and rail formations structures.  We do this by supplying both natural and by-product materials that provide essential product diversification in the market at competitive prices.

We have built global strategic networks and partnerships which enable us access to the largest market of producers of tyres and access to premium brands and wider product range including aggregates material at competitive prices for the Southern Africa market.  Our alternative brands products have been thoroughly tested under South African conditions for their performance, durability and ability to withstand strenuous and harsh road conditions such as rocks, heat and muddy roads and have surpassed market expectations.
